Job summary

Leidos seeks a Computer Support Specialist to join our team at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. You will support end user hardware, asset management, and secure communications systems to maintain reliable IT infrastructure for mission critical operations.

Primary responsibilities include configuring desktops, patching networks, applying security updates, and assisting in voice/video systems design and scheduling. You will train rotating military personnel and ensure timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 1+ year of experience or equivalent.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Certification: CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+ or CISSP/CASP within six months.
• Experience supporting Windows, Linux, and Unix-based infrastructure.
• Experience using ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft business tools and SCCM.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware/software in desktop environments.
• Perform network switch patching and configuration.
• Ensure security patches are current.
• Develop test specifications and procedures.
• Assist with design, installation, accreditation, and scheduling of voice/video systems.
• Support asset management activities including inventory and relocation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with timely response.
• Deliver training to rotating military personnel on system configuration and secure communications.
