Job summary

Johnson Controls Federal Systems in Arlington, VA seeks an HVAC DDC Controls Technician to join a federal team at the Pentagon. The role focuses on installation, start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Johnson Controls Metasys and Distech building automation systems.

Experience with DDC and HVAC controls, plus the ability to obtain necessary security clearances, is required. The position offers a company vehicle/allowance and benefits from day one, with paid time off and holidays

Qualifications

• Experience installing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and point-to-point checks with DDC systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC/controls and building management systems.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Perform install, start-up, commissioning, point-to-point checks and troubleshooting of HVAC controls systems.
• Assist with field changes and engineering corrections.
• Provide training and documentation on electronic control systems.
• Read blueprints, diagrams and manuals to support installation and operation of controls.
• Adhere to safety standards and lead safety on Johnson Controls worksites.
