Job summary

Johnson Controls Federal Systems seeks a Site Superintendent/Foreman to lead field teams at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA, supervising HVAC controls, BAS, and related mechanical systems.

The role requires coordinating schedules, budgets, safety, and quality, while maintaining strong client and subcontractor collaboration on daily on-site activities. Union considerations may apply; first-day benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of coordinating and supervising construction projects.
• Experience with HVAC mechanical equipment and BAS.
• Good interpersonal skills for supervision and client interface.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Windows.
• Ability to obtain security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field teams on HVAC controls, BAS, and related equipment.
• Inspect, report on site construction activity and subcontractor performance.
• Develop means/methods for service and maintenance tasks with PM.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and on-site safety compliance.
• Support quality control, submittals, and daily reporting.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and schedule updates with PM.
• Plan inspections, tests, and client coordination.
• Lead site meetings with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and client reps.
• Direct and coordinate subcontractor work and issue resolution.
• Maintain technical proficiency and pursue required certifications.
