Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Subject Matter Expert/Functional Area Expert (SME/FAE) in facilities portfolio management for the DoD Washington Headquarters Service (WHS).

The role is fully on-site at the Pentagon, supporting SPD in acquiring and managing a diverse portfolio across the National Capital Region, totaling over 16 million square feet. The candidate must have a Master’s degree and 20 years of experience (10 with DoD) and an active DoD Secret clearance, with strong strategic,

Qualifications

• Master's degree required and DoD knowledge highly valued.
• 20 years total work experience with 10 years supporting the DoD.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Ability to work across Military Departments, DoD, and Executive Branch agencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of the SPD programs.
• Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program staff.
• Develop improvements and optimization options for functions including HR, budget, logistics, facilities management, security, and contract management.
• Supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data.
