Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC seeks a Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Functional Area Expert (FAE) in Space Management to support a government client in the National Capital Region, Washington, D.C. This onsite role at the Pentagon will work with senior DoD leaders to define needs and develop recommendations.

U.S. citizenship and Interim Secret clearance to start are required, with 20+ years of federal DoD experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of twenty (20) years of DoD or equivalent federal experience.
• Ability to perform high-level analyses for senior decision making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with senior audiences.
• Experience drafting executive decision documents.
• Ability to coordinate complex, enterprise-level programs.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and develop project requirements from inception to conclusion.
• Provide strategic advice and technical guidance to teams.
• Analyze, evaluate, and recommend system improvements.
• Lead data collection studies and interpret results.
• Support DoD resource planning and execution.
• Communicate with senior executives across DoD organizations.
