Health Center Inc. We have an opening for a Pension Clerk based out of our Central Administration location in Manhattan. The Pension Clerk will perform technical support duties related to eligibility/verification of

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of pension or retirement services work experience.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and analyze Pension Plan rules and regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and multitask.

Responsibilities

• The Pension Clerk will perform technical support duties associated with the eligibility/verification of participants’ retirement benefits and the processing of claims.
• Create and maintain accurate pension records for plan participants and enter enrollment data into the system.
• Obtain required documents from participants and send out documents to participants; provide reception coverage on a rotating basis.
• Provide information and answer inquiries from management, the Union (NYHTC) and Plan participants and external parties.
• Generate reports as necessary and maintain distribution records.
