Health Center Inc., also operating as The New York Hotel Trades Council and Hotel Association of NYC, Inc Employee Benefit Funds, is seeking a Pension Clerk based in Manhattan to support retirement benefits processing. The role includes eligibility verification, pension record maintenance, enrollment data entry and document handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year pension or retirement services experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and resolve routine inquiries.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and analyze Pension Plan rules and regulations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Verify eligibility and processing of retirement benefit claims.
• Create and maintain accurate pension records.
• Enter participant enrollment data into the system.
• Obtain documents from participants and send materials.
• Update records to reflect participant status changes.
• Prepare award letters and reports.
• Provide excellent customer service to participants in-person or by phone.
• Assist with document completion, filing and scanning.
• Provide reception coverage on a rotating basis.
• Generate reports and maintain distribution records.
