Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking a mathematically driven Client Service Analyst II to join the DB Large Market team. The role centers on complex pension calculations and navigating intricate financial data, with client interaction and involvement in special projects.

The ideal candidate will solve problems with real analytical skill, adapt across multiple client projects, and thrive in a remote-first environment that supports autonomy and growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science or equivalent.
• Proven ability to perform complex calculations in real time.
• Self-starter with attention to detail and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Respond to plan inquiries and requests from clients promptly and professionally.
• Assist in calculating and processing timely payment of termination, retirement, and death benefits for simple plans.
• Support the consulting team in fostering strong relationships with clients.
• Help coordinate information flow between clients and trustees.
• Assist in reconciling plan assets and plan memberships.
• Support the preparation of year-end annual pension statements.
• Assist in preparing membership and asset data for actuarial valuations.
• Apply and interpret basic pension benefit calculations per plan provisions and laws.
• Work with pension databases to ensure data accuracy.
• Attend internal training to stay updated on industry trends.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to add value.
• Assist with special projects to support team goals.
