Alsco Uniforms in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a payroll benefits administrator focused on the 401(k) plan and union pension administration. You will process transactions, prepare reports for management and auditors, and assist with annual open enrollment and new-hire reviews.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business or accounting, 1–2 years 401(k) experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years direct experience in the administration of a 401(k) Plan.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
• Some working knowledge of ERISA-qualified retirement plans.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Update, audit, and track records for 401(k) participants.
• Manage union pension records within HRIS system.
• Prepare and reconcile company and participant contributions to be transmitted to the record keeper.
• Problem solve by direct communication with 401(k) participants.
• Report and analyze as required by outside auditors.
• Interpret plan provisions for participants and HR personnel.
• Participate in department discussions and improvements of 401(k) administration.
• Other retirement plan and related projects as assigned.
