gpac seeks an experienced Structural Design Engineer to design PEMB structures from concept through completion. The role requires a PE license and strong structural engineering background.

This position can be worked remotely, offering flexibility and collaboration with project teams. Responsibilities include performing structural calculations, reviewing plans, coordinating with architects and fabricators, and ensuring code compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Experience designing PEMB or similar steel building systems.
• Solid knowledge of structural steel design and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer PEMB structures from concept through completion.
• Perform structural calculations and analysis for steel building systems.
• Review project plans, specifications, and structural requirements.
• Prepare and review structural drawings and details.
• Coordinate with architects, fabricators, detailers, and project teams.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards.
• Review shop drawings and provide technical support throughout fabrication and erection.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving structural design issues.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and project records.
