Job summary

Federal Staffing Solutions Inc. seeks a Structural Engineer to interface with clients, develop designs, and lead design efforts across projects while mentoring staff. The role requires a PE license, 4–6 years of structural engineering experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Remote work capability is supported.

You will coordinate with architects and contractors, oversee documentation, manage budgets, and ensure design criteria meet IBC standards across multiple project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• 4–6 years of structural engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Experience with design, documentation, and project management tools.
• Remote work capability is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple project teams to complete projects.
• Develop designs through all project phases.
• Prepare studies, reports, and construction documents.
• Design building materials and systems.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Oversee drawing production, specifications, and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines (MEP, etc.).
• Conduct field surveys and site evaluations.
• Perform construction administration (RFIs, submittals, inspections).
• Manage budgets and schedules.
• Collaborate with leadership on organizational goals.
