Rehab Associates of Central Virginia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team in Lynchburg. You will assess patients, develop personalized plans, and deliver direct care per established protocols, collaborating with physicians and staff to optimize outcomes.

Formación

• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Virginia license or ability to obtain license and CPR certification.
• Able to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation plans.
• Work autonomously in a clinical setting.
• Proficient with EMR, databases and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients and develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Review physician referrals and patient records to determine required PT treatment.
• Provide direct patient care per established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress and instructions for patients and caregivers.
• supervise assistants and rehab technicians and ensure plan of care is followed.
• Develop goals and comprehensive programs to attain them.
• Implement PT treatment programs and essential therapies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes and progress reports.
