Kalmbach Feeds Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking a Control Room Operator who will learn and run our automated pelleting systems, prioritizing safety and product quality while supporting customers.

You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain procedures, document daily operations, manage inventories, and keep the facility clean and efficient. Strong analytical and math skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Operate our automated pelleting system in a way that prioritizes safety and quality
• Work directly with Kalmbach’s pelleting system to ensure consistent superior feeds are delivered to our customers
• Become subject experts on the pelleting system with detailed knowledge in process flow and perform preventative greasing and adjustments to help keep our systems running efficiently
• Work directly with team members across the company and departments to ensure that all policies and protocols are supported in our operations
• Document daily operations to support Kalmbach’s document procedures
• Strive to keep correct and accurate inventories of ingredients, parts, and orders
• Work with teammates to complete needed tasks to keep our facilities clean and in the best operational order
• Evidence of analytical reasoning and mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
