Job summary

Belstra Milling Company, based in DeMotte, IN, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Feed Manufacturing department at our DeMotte location. You will operate automation systems, manufacture feed per QA policies, and manage inventory records while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The role requires general manufacturing experience or a willingness to learn, physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and adherence to PPE and safety training requirements.

Qualifications

• Must monitor equipment and processes.
• Clear communication with team and supervisors.
• Basic math and reading comprehension required.
• Ability to troubleshoot plant equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate automation systems that control manufacturing and batching equipment.
• Manufacture feed following QA policies, SOPs and GMPs.
• Weigh and set up various ingredients; record inventory.
• Load/unload ingredients from trucks and depots; use forklift when trained.
• Maintain safety, quality, and accuracy in all tasks; complete paperwork.
