Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Panel Operator to join our feed production team. You will monitor and program computer terminals, operate related equipment, and guide feed through proper bins to ensure consistent quality and efficiency for every load.

Responsibilities include batching, grinding, pelleting, following food safety procedures, communicating with quality control and maintenance, and coordinating feed production with dispatchers. High school or equivalent and 2 years' experience required.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor batching, grinding, and pelleting terminals for efficient, timely feed mixes.
• Follow all food safety, breeder, NAE and NICARB program procedures.
• Ensure feeds are produced per prescribed formulas.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning of equipment as required.
• Communicate with Quality Control, Mill management and Maintenance.
• Coordinate feed production with dispatchers and bin space.
