Job summary

Lignetics Group is seeking a Mill Equipment Operator to run three pellet mills, perform QC testing on pellets, and test incoming materials. The role includes roll changes with a hoist, moisture management, and routine process inspections.

You will assist the dryer operator, maintain product quality to PF I standards, and help ensure safe operation in a high-temperature environment. A valid forklift certification and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot pellet mills.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and stand for up to 12 hours per day.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust 3 pellet mills.
• Perform QC testing of finished pellets.
• Test incoming raw materials and moisture content.
• Perform roll changes on pellet mills using overhead hoist.
• Inspect the process to identify issues.
• Assist dryer operator with moisture control.
• Maintain mill and process cleanliness and safety.
