Job summary

Lignetics in Youngsville, PA is seeking a Mill Equipment Operator to operate and adjust three pellet mills, perform QC tests on finished pellets, and monitor raw material moisture content. You will also handle roll changes and inspections, supporting the dryer and maintenance teams on the night shift.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, forklift certification, and the stamina to work in high temperature environments on a Monday–Friday 10 pm–6 am schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass forklift certification.
• Experience with pellet production or similar process preferred.
• Lift up to 80 lbs and stand up to 12 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust 3 pellet mills and perform roll changes.
• Perform QC testing of finished pellets and monitor moisture.
• Test incoming raw material moisture and maintain process quality.
• Assist dryer operator to maintain moisture content and report issues.
• Record measurements and complete shift reports daily.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in maintenance tasks.
