Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, LLC in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Hopper Utility to support production by unloading and loading pellets into the hopper, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays to meet production needs.

You will record production data, inspect product quality, and collaborate with teammates to optimize processes while upholding food safety programs.

Qualifications

Must be able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 lbs.
Strong commitment to following personal and food safety policies.

Responsibilities

Unload and load pellets into the hopper to meet production needs and product specifications.
Inspect the quality of the product and packaging, and notify the operator or supervisor of issues.
Accurately record production data in the system.
Communicate when production supplies are needed to keep processes running smoothly.
Assist teammates by covering breaks or absences as needed.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a zero-accident culture.
Collaborate with a diverse team to improve processes and efficiency.
Ensure food safety programs are followed and report any issues to management.
Assist with other tasks as needed to support team and company goals.
