Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Hopper Utility to unload and load pellets into the hopper and support food safety, quality and production standards. This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with some Saturdays as needed.

You will record production data, inspect product quality, cover teammates, and help ensure a zero-accident culture while aiding colleagues across shifts. Join a team committed to high standards and growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to following food safety and personal safety policies.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load pellets into the hopper to meet production needs.
• Inspect product quality and packaging, notifying issues.
• Accurately record production data in the system.
• Communicate when supplies are needed to keep production running.
• Support team members by covering breaks or absences.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a zero-accident culture.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to improve processes.
• Help ensure Food Safety programs are followed.
• Assist with other tasks as needed to support goals.
