Job summary

Utz Quality Foods seeks a Hopper Utility at our Goodyear, AZ manufacturing facility. You will unload and load pellets into the hopper, support food safety, quality, and production standards, and help keep lines running smoothly.

You will work Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with some Saturdays as needed. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and meeting production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load pellets into the hopper to meet production needs and product specifications.
• Inspect the quality of the product and packaging, and notify the machine operator or supervisor of any issues.
• Accurately record production data in the system.
• Communicate when production supplies are needed to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Help out fellow team members by covering for them during breaks or absences.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a zero-accident culture by addressing any safety concerns.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team, providing input on ways to improve processes.
• Ensure Food Safety programs are followed, reporting any issues to management.
