Job summary

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks a Software Engineering Advisor for the Austin, TX location to work with Business Partners and Operational Leaders to ideate, design, develop and deliver technology solutions.

The role includes leading Pega development, mentoring vendor consultants, refining requirements with Product Owners, conducting code reviews, and ensuring performance, security, and compliance across environments. Hybrid work arrangement is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
5+ years of experience as Software Engineer or Technical Lead.
Experience building features from requirements with frequent stakeholder discussions.
Experience with Product Owners and stakeholders to refine requirements.
Ability to convert functional requirements into technical specifications and lead reviews.

Responsibilities

Deliver reliable and secure software solutions meeting operational specifications.
Lead, build, and maintain Pega application development with vendor partners.
Coordinate with Technical Product Owners and Business community to refine needs and provide solutions.
Review and guide code development through code reviews.
Monitor triage, debugging, performance and scalability across environments.
Enforce Pega best practices and maintain compliance.
