Job summary

The Cigna Group seeks a Software Engineering Advisor in Austin, TX to partner with Business Partners and Operational Leaders to ideate, design, develop and deliver technology solutions. You will lead Pega development, mentor vendor consultants, and coordinate with Product Owners to refine technical requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing code, ensuring performance and security, and enforcing Pega best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of software engineering/technical leadership experience.
Experience building features from requirements with stakeholder discussions and direct product owner collaboration.
Strong ability to transform requirements into technical specifications and drive teams to resolution.

Responsibilities

Deliver reliable, secure software solutions aligned with operational specs.
Lead and mentor vendor consultants in Pega development.
Coordinate with Technical Product Owners and Business to refine needs and propose technical solutions.
Review code and guide team through code reviews to ensure quality.
Monitor triage, debugging, performance, and scalability across environments.
Enforce Pega best practices and ensure high compliance of code.
