Job summary

SHYAS Health in North Carolina is seeking a Peer Support Team Lead to guide a team of certified peer support specialists at Sanford, Charlotte, and Salisbury locations. You will supervise 4-8 staff, review notes, and coordinate monthly treatment team meetings and PCP reviews to support recovery-focused services.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with leadership skills and a passion for helping others. A CPSS certification and Qualified Professional status are required, with degree-path

Qualifications

• Certified Peer Support Specialist with Qualified Professional status
• Minimum 1 year experience with the target population
• Degree options as specified: BS in human services with 2+ years, MS in human services with 1+ year, or BS outside human services with 4+ years

Responsibilities

• Manage/supervise a team of 4-8 Certified Peer Support Specialists
• Review notes written by staff
• Facilitate monthly treatment team meetings and PCP reviews for each consumer on the team
• Facilitate monthly individual supervision and weekly team meetings for staff
• Track and monitor outcomes for consumers assigned to the team
• Ensure consumers assigned to the team remain authorized or are discharged appropriately
