Job summary

Anew Behavioral Health LLC is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to provide non-clinical, recovery-oriented support to individuals in our program. You will use lived experience and training to mentor and advocate for residents in their recovery journey, offering emotional support and guidance.

Qualifications

• Peer Support Specialist Certification required.
• UDS background check required.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with history of substance use and/or mental health conditions.
• Meet with mental health professionals to establish treatment plans.
• Provide coaching and emotional support for clients.
• Help clients manage appointments with mental health professionals.
• Report concerns about health and safety to care team.
• Keep accurate records of client encounters.
• Write recovery reviews to update client files.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
