Job summary

Community Bridges is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to join our PCMH/OTP community-based services in Arizona. You will address one-on-one support needs and assist with day-to-day problem solving to help clients reintegrate into the community.

The role emphasizes recovery, harm reduction and peer support, engaging with clients in both community and facility settings while promoting a safe, inclusive recovery environment.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in Behavioral Health or Substance Abuse field.
• Minimum 6 months recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders.
• Current AZ Driver's License (Valid and in good standing).
• Clear 39‑month Motor Vehicle Record.
• Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) or able to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Addiction and Substances Use Disorders certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support and day-to-day problem solving in community and facility settings.
• Utilize best practices of assertive engagement, harm reduction and peer support.
• Promote recovery philosophy and a safe inclusive environment for clients.
