Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health in Spokane seeks a dedicated Peer Support Specialist to provide counseling, mentoring, and recovery support to clients across settings. You’ll work with clinicians to foster hope, build skills, and promote community integration through individual and group services.

Required credentials include Active Certified Peer Support Specialist or Trainee credentials from WA DOH, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• One or more years in recovery from a mental health condition or substance use disorder.
• Active WA DOH Certified Peer Support Specialist credential or Trainee credential (or actively applying within 90 days).
• High School diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians in developing treatment objectives and interventions.
• Provide peer counseling and support to clients and families.
• Mentor clients to build self-advocacy and community connections.
• Deliver individual and group services as assigned.
• Maintain confidential client records per agency policies.
