Job summary

TASC seeks a full-time Peer Support Specialist to assist tenants in achieving recovery and community inclusion. You will use lived experience to coach life skills and provide transportation, outreach, and supportive services in partnership with the PSH team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in group facilitation.
• Ability to take initiative and be creative.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in achieving service plan goals with behavioral health providers and community resources.
• Promote community engagement through groups, activities, and volunteer opportunities.
• Coach daily living skills such as budgeting, hygiene, conflict resolution, and landlord communications.
• Provide transportation to appointments, services, and housing-related meetings.
• Document all client interactions in the Electronic Client Record (ECR) system.
• Support monthly data collection and reporting on engagement and housing retention outcomes.
• Participate in supervision, trainings, and trauma-informed care and reentry best practices.
