Steadfast Health is seeking a Peer Support Specialist in Raleigh, NC. Your lived experience will be central to the care model as you join a multidisciplinary team to support individuals navigating recovery.

You will participate in daily huddles, assist with wellness planning, and help connect clients to housing, employment, and community resources. The role offers a predictable weekday schedule and a pay range of $22–$24 per hour with a 5% monthly KPI bonus.

Formación

• Lived experience with substance use and 2 years of sustained recovery.
• Active Peer Specialist certification, in good standing in-state.
• Willingness to obtain NAADAC NCPRSS within nine months of start date.

Responsabilidades

• Provide peer-based support individuals navigating substance use and recovery utilizing evidence-based techniques.
• Share lived experience and model self-directed change to inspire and empower patients.
• Function as key member of daily patient huddles by identifying obstacles to recovery and advising intervention plans.
• Assist clients in developing personal wellness and harm reduction plans.
• Facilitate peer-led support groups and one-on-one coaching sessions.
• Help individuals access harm reduction tools, housing, employment, and community support.
• Educate clients on harm reduction strategies and coping skills.
• Advocate for clients within healthcare, housing, and social services.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress while upholding confidentiality.
• Safely transport patients to appointments using a personal vehicle.

Active Peer Specialist certification
