You will offer individualized guidance, assist with daily living skills, navigate community resources, and document progress while coordinating with the care team to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• NC Certified Peer Support Specialist is required in North Carolina.
• Personal lived experience with recovery from mental health or substance use.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• WRAP or equivalent training is beneficial.
• Reliable transportation to fulfill duties.
• Stability in recovery without crisis or relapse.

Responsibilities

• Peer-based recovery support with individualized guidance and coaching.
• Promote self-advocacy and empowerment for clients.
• Navigate community resources for housing, employment, education, health care, social support.
• Provide crisis intervention and ensure continuity of care.
• Develop self-help and social skills, including daily living tasks.
• Model recovery values and collaborate with the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings.
