Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Sinai Hospital in Baltimore seeks a Peer Recovery Coach to provide non-clinical support to patients pursuing recovery from alcohol or drug use, while collaborating with the care team to promote engagement and linkage to services.

You will assist in referrals, help develop service plans, and encourage patients toward sustained recovery as part of a multidisciplinary team. Training on naloxone may be provided, and occasional travel could be required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be actively engaged in own recovery with a minimum of three years demonstrated personal recovery and abstinence.
• Naloxone training may be required and travel may be necessary.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-clinical peer support to patients seeking treatment for alcohol or drug dependence.
• Assist in completing referrals to treatment services and developing service plans.
• Support linkage to treatment services within the care team.
