Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Sinai Hospital in Baltimore seeks a Peer Recovery Coach to provide non-clinical support to patients pursuing recovery from alcohol or drug use, while collaborating with the care team to promote engagement and linkage to services.

You will assist in referrals, help develop service plans, and encourage patients toward sustained recovery as part of a multidisciplinary team. Training on naloxone may be provided, and occasional travel could be required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be actively engaged in own recovery with a minimum of three years demonstrated personal recovery and abstinence.
• Naloxone training may be required and travel may be necessary.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Summary

The Peer Recovery Coach provides non-clinical services intended to aid patients in establishing recovery from high risk of dependent alcohol and drug use problems. Work as part of the team to provide peer support and motivation to encourage patients who are seeking treatment for alcohol or drug dependency and addiction issues. Assist in completing referrals to treatment services and developing service plans to promote successful linkage to treatment services.

Experience

• The eligible candidate must be actively engaged in his/her own recovery program with a minimum of three years demonstrated personal recovery and sustained abstinence from alcohol and\/or drug use.


• This position may receive training on naxoline and travel as necessary.


• 1 year of experience preferred.

Pay Range

$17.12 to $26.00 Based On Experience
