Telecare Corporation seeks a Peer Recovery Coach to engage members served, inspire conversations, and help them set and meet recovery goals. You will contribute to Telecare’s Recovery Culture by ensuring person-centered, respectful care and collaborating with the team to tailor services.

As part of a new startup program starting December 14, 2026, you will respond to emergencies with de-escalation skills and support a least restrictive environment while coordinating with the broader behavioral

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Peer Certification must be obtained prior to hire.
• California Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification required before hire date.
• 1 year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members with behavioral health challenges.
• 2 years’ full-time experience in a mental health program serving persons with severe and persistent mental disabilities, or a bachelor’s degree with a major in psychology, social work or behavioral sciences.
• Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care.
• Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training.
• Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate).
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Engage, inspire, and facilitate conversations to help members explore and meet recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to the team to promote Telecare’s Recovery Culture (RCCS).
• Respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills.
• Support a least restrictive environment for members in emergencies.
• Participate in a startup program with a December 14, 2026 start date.
