Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Peer Recovery Specialist to provide recovery-oriented community-based services to adults with behavioral health diagnoses at the Trillium Place Drop In Center, under supervision.

You will support recovery planning, mentor individuals, lead groups, and coordinate with ERS for further care. Certifications and lived experience are required to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving to client situations.
• Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assures consumers receive strength-based ongoing services based on goals.
• Encourages development of recovery plans using evidence-based practices.
• Mentors, supports individuals, and teaches self-advocacy and motivation.
