Job summary

CCBC is hiring Recovery Coaches at the Taunton Peer Recovery Support Center to assist adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders. You will build recovery plans, motivate clients, and provide confidential, supportive guidance tailored to individual needs.

Role involves weekly group activities and occasional evenings or Saturdays; requires experience in behavioral health and a GED. Valid license and CORI processes apply, with a focus on person-centered support across systems.

Qualifications

• 3 years of human service/behavioral healthcare experience preferred.
• CARC Certification preferred for Recovery Coach role.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders, supporting Recovery Plans.
• Conduct outreach to encourage recovery activities and group participation.
• Educate peers and staff about addiction and motivational techniques.
• Provide peer coaching and assist clients in setting and achieving recovery goals.
• Be available to support peers during times of potential relapse or urgent needs.
• Help clients navigate healthcare and social services systems.
• Assist with data collection for quality assurance and program evaluation.
• Serve as liaison between the recovery community and care systems.
• May facilitate weekly recovery support groups.
