Job summary

The Village Family Services, Inc. seeks a Parent Partner to provide active, hands-on peer support to parents/caregivers of youth with emotional or behavioral challenges.

Support may occur in agencies, homes, or community settings, and the role focuses on increasing family involvement and reducing bias. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or AA with relevant experience, have a valid driver's license, and bring strong communication and cultural responsiveness to the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or AA degree with relevant experience in family services.
• Must have lived experience with child serving systems is beneficial.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, hands-on peer support to parents/caregivers.
• Participate in Child and Family Team meetings and planning.
• Collaborate with facilitators to support family involvement and equity.
