Job summary

The Village Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Parent Partner to provide hands-on peer support to parents and caregivers of youth with complex needs. You will collaborate with wraparound teams to support family involvement, safety, and voice in planning and care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or AA Degree with relevant experience in work with children or families with complex needs.
• Must have life experience as a parent or caregiver of a youth with emotional or behavioral challenges.
• Ability to demonstrate non-judgmental attitude towards families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, peer-to-peer support to parents.
• Attend and participate in Child and Family Team meetings.
• Develop plans to ensure concerns are heard and understood.
