Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling and W2 employment with competitive hourly pay.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of OR experience in pediatrics, Ohio RN license, BSN or in progress, and current BLS/ACLS. PALS and CNOR are preferred. Start date is as soon as credentialing is completed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN OR (Peds) experience.
• Ohio RN license is required.
• BSN degree or in progress.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS is a plus.
• CNOR certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for pediatric patients in the operating room.
• Perform assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assist the physician and ensure continuity between the unit and the OR.
