Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Pedorthist in our Connecticut facilities to assess patients, formulate treatment plans, and deliver or supervise comprehensive pedorthic care.

You will design, fabricate, and fit shoes, prostheses, and orthoses, collaborating with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to empower patient mobility. Current ABC/BOC board certification is preferred; state licensure eligibility may be required.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Pedorthics required or eligible.
• Candidate may be willing to consider non-certified candidates with 5+ years of prosthetic/orthotic experience under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and formulate treatment plans for pedorthic care.
• Design, fabricate and fit pedorthic devices and orthoses.
• Provide follow-up with patients and collaborate with physicians.
• Mentor newly certified clinicians and support other clinical staff.

Education

Board certification in Pedorthics (ABC or BOC)

License eligibility / ability to obtain state licensure
