Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a Pedorthist to join its nationwide network of clinics to deliver comprehensive pedorthic care.

You will assess patients, formulate treatment plans, design and fit pedorthic devices, and collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation teams to ensure optimal outcomes. Board certification or eligibility is required, with licensure per state regulations. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and clinical excellence within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Pedorthics from the ABC or BOC, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver’s license and driving record meeting policy standards.
• In states with licensure, ability to obtain and maintain licensure.
• May be willing to consider candidates not certified with at least 5 years of prosthetic/orthotic experience under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate pedorthic needs and discuss treatment options.
• Design and fabricate pedorthic devices and assist in fitting.
• Provide patient instruction on use of pedorthic devices and conduct follow-ups.
• Mentor newly certified clinicians and support other clinical staff.
