Hanger Clinic in Kansas City is seeking a Pedorthist to provide or supervise comprehensive pedorthic care. You will assess patients, formulate treatment plans, fabricate and fit pedorthic devices, and work with the rehabilitation team to deliver optimal outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold board certification in Pedorthics or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a valid driver's license is required, and licensure may be needed by state law. Competitive benefits are included.

Formación

• Current board certification in Pedorthics from the ABC or BOC, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver's license and driving record.
• In states where licensure is required, the ability to obtain and maintain state licensure may be required.
• May be willing to consider candidates who are not certified but have at least 5 years of demonstrated past experience in providing prosthetic and/or orthotic services under supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with physicians in evaluating pedorthic needs and recommend treatment options.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs in relation to disease and functional loss.
• Design pedorthotic devices and select materials, cast measurements, and layouts.
• Perform fitting and ensure device efficacy and patient comfort.
• Provide follow-up with patients and physicians and document detailed clinical notes.
