Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a skilled Pedorthist to evaluate patients, design, fabricate and fit shoes, prostheses and orthoses, delivering superior outcomes. You will collaborate with the rehabilitation team and apply advanced pedorthic techniques and materials to meet patient needs.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to safety and quality standards, and ongoing collaboration with physicians, case managers and staff to sustain high-quality clinical results.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Pedorthist (ABC) or BOC, or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to obtain state licensure where required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and collaborate with physicians on pedorthotic needs.
• Design, fabricate and fit pedorthotic devices to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Select materials, take casts, modify models, and plan layouts.
• Perform fitting and alignments; ensure device efficacy and patient comfort.
• Provide patient instruction, follow-up and in-service training.
