Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Pediatric Med/Surg Float Team. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care across pediatric units, with cross-training opportunities in specialty areas and support for Levine Children's Hospital and related centers.

The role includes 7p-7a, 36 hours per week, weekend and holiday requirements, and cross-training opportunities based on department needs and performance.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
• At least one year of pediatric in-patient RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
