Job summary

HHM Health in Dallas, TX is seeking a Pediatrics Practice Manager to oversee the pediatric practice operations, optimize workflows, and drive high-quality patient care. The role partners with physicians and leadership to translate clinical needs into efficient, compliant operational processes.

The candidate will lead front- and back-office teams, monitor access and productivity, and ensure staff training and regulatory compliance while supporting quality initiatives and patient experience across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years in healthcare/ambulatory or pediatric practice management.
• Prior supervisory/management experience in healthcare or outpatient settings.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ambulatory clinic operations, patient access, scheduling, staffing, productivity, and patient flow.
• Experience with EHRs and practice management systems; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• Knowledge of quality metrics (HEDIS/UDS), preventive care, and value-based care.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to analyze operational data and develop action plans.
• Willingness to travel between HHM Health locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day pediatric practice operations and workflows.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop front-office and back-office staff.
• Collaborate with providers and leadership on staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
• Monitor productivity, patient volumes, appointment availability, no-shows, and access-to-care metrics.
• Develop standardized pediatric workflows, policies, and processes.
• Coordinate services including well-child visits, sick visits, preventive care, immunizations, and care gaps.
• Ensure staff training and compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention, and safety standards.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership on performance and quality metrics.
• Support pediatric quality initiatives (HEDIS, UDS, preventive care).
• Collaborate with Quality, Revenue Cycle, IT, HR, and other departments on operational needs.
