Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure in the applicable state.
• CPR/BLS Level C certification.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to hospital and departmental policies to promote a cooperative work environment.
• Provides patient care assessment and treatment with professional judgment and realistic goals.
• Maintains accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, and ICD-10 coding.
• Meets department productivity standards and contributes to budget and schedules.
• Participates in process improvement to enhance quality and efficiency of services.
• Educates and mentors other health care workers; shares knowledge through in-service trainings.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff to ensure understanding.
