Job summary

High Point Regional Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient assessments and treatments within a hospital setting. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and ensure quality patient outcomes.

The role requires a B.S. or M.S. in Occupational Therapy, current state licensure, and CPR certification. Relocation assistance up to $7,500 is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have a B.S. or M.S. in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure in the relevant state.
• CPR certification (BLS, Level C) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment with comprehensive, functional evaluations and practical treatment plans.
• Maintains accurate documentation including evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, and ICD-10 codes.
• Ensures patient records are organized, legible, and up to date while documenting patient/family education.
• Meets department productivity standards and participates in scheduling adjustments to meet patient needs.
• Participates in process improvement to enhance quality and efficiency of services and shares best practices.
• Promotes professional development and education of health care staff and represents the department on committees.
• Communicates professionally and timely with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers, including family education and issue resolution.
