Job summary

Advocate Health in High Point, NC seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist for a full-time role in acute care rehabilitation. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, planning therapy, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to support child and family goals.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of North Carolina with current licensure.
• CPR Certification every two years.
• Valid NC driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized tests such as manual muscle testing and goniometry.
• Conduct both individual and multidisciplinary evaluations.
• Provide written summaries of diagnostic findings for team plans.
• Plan intervention strategies and communicate with families about strengths and weaknesses.
• Deliver OT treatment services including neuro-developmental and sensory motor therapy.
• Document goals and progress of therapy interventions.
• Participate in IFSP and chart reviews as needed.
• Attend workshops and update instruments to ensure best practices.
