No prior MA experience or certification is required; we provide comprehensive clinical training and mentorship, working closely with pediatricians and nursing staff in a supportive environment.

Qualifikationen

• College graduate or pursuing a college degree; graduates preferred.
• Interest in medicine, PA/NP school, or other health professions.
• Strong academic background and enthusiasm for learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, organized, and comfortable with children and families.
• Previous clinical experience helpful but not required.
• Medical Assistant certification not required.
• Commitment of approximately one year preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist physicians and nurses with patient visits and clinical procedures.
• Obtain vital signs, heights, weights, and other patient measurements.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist with patient flow.
• Assist with immunization-related workflows and other clinical tasks as appropriate to training and applicable requirements.
• Communicate with patients and families.
• Assist with front desk responsibilities, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and patient registration.
• Learn about electronic medical records, insurance processes, and the business and administrative aspects of running a medical practice.
• Work collaboratively with our cross-trained clinical and administrative team.
