DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking motivated Medical Assistants for a 1–2 year gap year opportunity. This role supports dermatology teams with patient intake, data entry into EMA EHR, and assisting physicians during visits and procedures.

Ideal candidates are pursuing PA school or medical careers, with a Bachelor’s degree or in progress, a patient-centered mindset, and a solid understanding of HIPAA. We offer mentorship, benefits, and hands-on clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Interest in pursuing PA school or medical career prep.
• Passion for patient care and a collaborative team approach.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to verify information and collect medical history.
• Enter patient data into EMA EHR accurately.
• Guide patients through visits and prepare them for examinations.
• Assist physicians during exams and procedures.
• Schedule procedures with care and precision.
• Provide instructions on medication usage and post‑visit care.
• Assist with wound care, phlebotomy, and basic lab tasks.
• Maintain organized and safe clinical spaces and supplies.
• Receive mentorship from dermatology providers.
