Job summary

Pediatric Associates Family of Companies is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient-centered care under clinician supervision in a pediatric setting. You will assist with intake, exams, vaccinations, and administrative tasks to support a smooth clinic operation.

Requirements include a high school diploma and MA certification or relevant MA experience; BLS is preferred. The role includes regionally based pediatric care duties at our Southampton, PA location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• MA Diploma/Certification required-OR equivalent MA experience.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Current valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality patient experience; welcome patients; ensure a safe patient environment and proper supplies.
• Record intake vitals and notify clinician of abnormal findings.
• Document patient histories, medications, allergies, and immunization status with accurate records.
• Assist clinicians with exams and basic procedures under supervision.
• Perform vaccine administration and vaccine/storage responsibilities per policy.
• Support care management and follow-up tasks including referrals and forms.
• Maintain infection control and safety per organizational policy.
