Job summary

University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is seeking a Business/Administrative Associate to manage advanced operations for the Department of Pediatrics. You will handle contracting, financial reporting, and data analysis under the Pediatrics Director of Administrative Operations.

You will contribute to budget planning, PSA performance metrics, and monthly financial reconciliations while collaborating across departments and committees to improve processes and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a field related to the position.
• Two (2) years of professional business, financial, and/or managerial work experience.
• A Master’s Degree may substitute for one year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides specialized analysis, input, review and reporting within Pediatrics contracts, primarily PSA.
• Updates PSA exhibits while investigating deviations from the budget.
• Assists in monthly/quarterly reconciliations and modifcations to the PSA.
• Recommends changes to the PSA and pediatrics financials.
• Collects data to organize and compute annual PSA Performance/Incentive plan.
• Acts as a technical and administrative resource at meetings and committees.
• Prepares monthly summary reports for all Sections including productivity reporting.
• Monitors pediatric funds balances and provides corrective recommendations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a field related to the position
